EkoFond

The project lead partner is EkoFond, the non-investment fund established by SPP in 2007 in order to support projects focusing on effective use of energy, environment protection and activities connected with education in these areas. The target groups are public entities, in particular municipalities and facilities under their administration, non-profit making organisations, schools, school facilities, as well as individuals.

The activities of EkoFond are aimed at:

grant programmes to support the energy efficiency (GP 01 – Cogeneration and three-generation on the basis of the natural gas, GP 02 - Improvement of the energy consumption of buildings, G3 – Support for installation of gas heat pumps, GP 04 – Introduction of new progressive technologies based on the natural gas, GP 05 – Support of use of alternative engine fuel CNG.
Partnership projects - cooperation with other non-profit making entities and foundations on their activities and projects which are in harmony with the EkoFond purpose, and
Own projects, in particular EkoFond for schools which includes a comprehensive education package in the area of the gas industry and energy efficiency for primary and secondary schools.
